With incredible oranges available all
year around, this new drink, while similar to a traditional Tequila Sunrise
goes one step further by adding the "citrusy" sweetness of Tripe
Sec. If you have the big bucks, use Gran Marnier in lieu of
the Triple Sec. But either way, you will not want to be
operating heavy machinery after two of these baby's!
STEP #1 - GATHER YOUR INGREDIENTS...

1.5 oz. Tequila
-
1 oz. Triple Sec (Gran
Marnier if you can afford it)

2 tsps. Grenadine syrup or
Maraschino cherry juice
(Jugo de cereza)

Freshly squeezed Orange Juice (jugo
de naranja)

8 ounce glass (vaso)
-
Crushed Ice (heilo picado)
STEP #2 - PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER...

Fill glass 1/3 full with crushed ice

Add Tequila, Triple Sec and Grenadine

Fill remainder of glass with
freshly squeezed
orange juice. This is the make or break
ingredient. If you use anything but fresh squeezed, you
are completely missing the boat!
