MAKING THE CRUST
If
you take the lazy way out and use the readi-made pie crust then
you have successfully completed the first step in making this
incredible Key Lime Pie.
However, if you are making your crust from scratch, just follow
these easy steps:

Place your
graham cracker crumbs into a mixing bowl

Melt your
butter
-
Add butter to
the crumbs

Mix together
until all the butter has been mixed into the crumbs

Place crumbs
into a 9" pie dish and spread out evenly

Bake for 10
minutes at a 350 degree oven

Remove from
oven and set aside
MAKING THE FILLING
-
Squeeze the juice
from 4-5 ripe limes so that it yields between 1/2 to 3/4 cup
of juice. Do not ewxceed 3/4 cup of juice unless you
really like to make a pucker face

Pour the sweetened
condensed milk into a mixing bowl

Add egg yolks and
slowly fold in together

Add lime juice and
slowly mix together by hand

Pour mixture into
pie crust shell
-
Bake for 20 minutes
at a 350 degree oven
-
Remove from oven.
Let cool 30 minutes
MAKING THE TOPPING
- This is just way too easy.
