Chapter 46
- Shipping Personal Goods
Uploaded: 11/22/2009
This is a two part interview with Arden
Brink.
Arden and her husband Dave moved here to Costa Rica in
2006, bringing with then TWO 40' containers loaded (to the max) with
everything they owned.
Part 1 deals with shipping
your personal household goods while Part 2 "touches" on the pros and
cons of shipping your personal automobile.
PART 1: PERSONAL
POSSESSIONS
PART 2: SHIPPING YOUR CAR
BE AWARE... The import
tax tax in Costa Rica is hefty (to say the least). Do your
research before you commit to bring in a car from outside Costa Rica.
And for goodness sake... only bring in cars which are popular in Costa
Rica and can be easily repaired.
Today, Arden works for Ship Costa Rica
and assists new expats in their quest for Pura Vida.
